On the evening of June 10, 2024, distinguished guests from various sectors gathered to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of China Hotel. Chairman and General Manager Anny Chan remarked, "Over the past forty years, China Hotel has upheld the open and inclusive spirit of Lingnan culture, introduced advanced management concepts, and forged top-tier service quality. We have boldly transcended traditional boundaries, continuously expanding our service areas and enriching our business operations." 

From March 26 to May 19, 2024, China Hotel showcases "Rediscovery" at the "Boundless Reverie: Chinese Savoir-Faire and Contemporary Art" exhibition held at K11 MUSEA in Hong Kong. Several tasting events of the “Rediscovery” banquet were also held. At the same time, in collaboration with Joint Publishing (H.K.), the Traditional Chinese edition book of "Rediscovery" was released. Boosting consumption scenarios with foods, empowering cultural exchanges to deepen communication among Guangzhou and Hong Kong people.

On March 8, 2024, International Women's Day, the hotel hosted a Goddess Festival-themed event at Café Verand Distinguished women representatives from various fields were invited to share their professional and life experiences. A special Goddess Festival-themed tea party was also prepared for the guests. The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of China Hotel and this event provided an opportunity for attendees to express their best wishes for the hotel's 40th anniversary.

On the first day of Chinese New Year, February 10, 2024, China Hotel held its annual lion dance performance at the hotel's entrance, followed by a lion dance parade. This event upholds and promotes the excellent traditional Chinese culture, allowing guests to experience the joy of the Dragon Year's Spring Festival and participate in the lively celebrations of Cantonese New Year.

On January 29, the Market Regulation Administration of Guangzhou Municipality and the Municipal Bureau of Commerce jointly released the "Eating in Guangzhou" brand. China Hotel`s The Four Seasons, along with 15 restaurants stood out and were authorized to become the first batch of “Eating in Guangzhou” brands. Additionally, The Four Seasons received the prestigious five-star certification.

On the evening of January 19, 2024, the "Cantonese Cuisine Feast Features Pearl River Night Cruise" event at cruise ship "Far Sea Sailing" Pearl River cruise ship, co-hosted by China Hotel under the Lingnan Group and Guangzhou Public Transport Ferry Co., Ltd, in collaboration with COSCO Shipping (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. While enjoying the splendid night view of the Pearl River on both sides, guests savored the exquisite Cantonese dishes and experienced the beauty of Guangzhou's traditional fusion through a series of “Rediscovery" dishes. Experience the beauty of Guangzhou's traditional historical culture blending with modern urban life.

On January 7, 2024, the 16^th Sports Meeting for Children with Disabilities was successfully held. China Hotel called on all staff to donate stationery, books and other presents for the children, and thirty-three employees actively signed up to be the volunteer to help the special athletes achieve great results in the meeting! The hotel also set up a game booth at the meeting to enrich the children's experience and strengthen their physical ability. China hotel was honored with a special plaque from the organizer of the meeting, fostering a spirit of compassion throughout Guangzhou.

The 2023 That's Hospitality Awards ceremony unfolded with grandeur at China Hotel in November. Serving as the pinnacle annual event for the tourism and service industry, the ceremony attracted hundreds of influential industry leaders from hotels, chambers of commerce, catering, and media, who gathered to witness and celebrate the outstanding achievements exclusive to the hotel industry.

The executive pastry chef of China Hotel made a special appearance at Guangzhou Friendship Store, offering a distinctive Mid-Autumn Festival mooncake DIY class. Participants not only have the opportunity to handcraft delicious mooncakes but can also take their creations home, sharing the heartfelt treats with family and friends during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

During the summer vacation, the hotel, in collaboration with the Guangzhou Museum and the Intangible Cultural Heritage Studio, organized various cultural experience courses, including Everlasting Flower Plates, Three-Ball Instrument, Emblem Porcelain, and Intangible Cultural Heritage Handmade Rush Flowers. 

China Hotel, in partnership with the Guangzhou Museum, hosted the 2023 Mid-Autumn Mooncake Tasting Event. On the historic Zhenhai Tower, which has witnessed six centuries of Guangzhou's history, savor the traditional taste of Mid-Autumn mooncakes and immerse yourself in the cultural heritage of Yuexiu that spans a thousand years. An immersive cultural experience, where history and aesthetics meld into a realm of profound beauty and contemplation.

In the delicate interplay between Cantonese culinary mastery and the art of fine wines lies a profound, unspoken connection. The hotel, in collaboration with the renowned Cognac Louis XIII, hosted a high-end gourmet tasting banquet at The Four Seasons. Centennial dishes, retrieved from the ancient menu preserved in the Guangzhou Museum, return to the dining table to meet Louis XIII, a centennial cognac. Embark on a journey through time, where culinary and vinous delights enchant palates and leave enduring impressions.

As a protector of intangible heritage, China Hotel has been actively promoting the inheritance of Lingnan culinary culture. The "Cantonese Zhusheng Noodle" Intangible Heritage Experience Space demonstrates the hotel's commitment to the protection of intangible heritage skills.

China Hotel has provided the accommodation and catering reception for the Understand China International Conference (Guangzhou) for two consecutive years, delivering high-quality, international, and streamlined service to guests from all over the world. Through a win-win professional cooperation model, China Hotel worked closely with the conference organizers on a special reception, and provided consistent and thorough logistics support.

Business elites from all over the world gathered in Guangzhou from October 15 to 19, 2021, for the 130th Canton Fair. China Hotel has been based in Guangzhou for 37 years, and has been at the forefront of the hotel industry since the beginning of reform and opening up. A key driver for the founding and development of China Hotel was to serve the needs of merchants coming to Guangzhou for the Canton Fair. On the evening of July 17, 2021, China Hotel hosted a special Mid-autumn Festival Celebration in the Crystal Ballroom. The event featured Mooncake tasting, wonderful performances and special food made at live cooking stations onsite, and introduced the guests to the style and unique characteristics of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Lingnan region of China.

On May 8, 2021, a special Mother’s Day Dinner and Concert was jointly organized in Shunde by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of the Shunde District of Foshan, the Guangdong Radio and Television Pearl River Economic Station, and China Hotel. The banquet menu for the evening was jointly designed and executed by the Shunde Chef Association and the star culinary team from China Hotel, and the dishes were named after famous Cantonese Opera and Guangdong Folk Art traditions. The music from the concert rang through the event venue, to the great delight of those in attendance.

On the evening of December 8, 2020, China Hotel held a customer appreciation party and Winter Holiday lighting ceremony. Many guests gathered in the hotel lobby to share in the warmth and good wishes of the evening! A special art installation with the theme A Crystal Blue Night in Guangzhou was officially unveiled and lit during the ceremony. Inspired by Cantonese dim sum steamers, this art piece integrates traditional Cantonese food culture with Winter Holiday colors and themes.

The long-awaited China Hotel Christmas Lighting Ceremony was held on December 6, 2019. Approximately 300 guests gathered in the lobby to light up the Christmas season with wonderful songs, performances and a warm and happy atmosphere.
