Business elites from all over the world gathered in Guangzhou from October 15 to 19, 2021, for the 130th Canton Fair. China Hotel has been based in Guangzhou for 37 years, and has been at the forefront of the hotel industry since the beginning of reform and opening up. On the evening of July 17, 2021, China Hotel hosted a special Mid-autumn Festival Celebration in the Crystal Ballroom. The event featured Mooncake tasting, wonderful performances and special food made at live cooking stations onsite, and introduced the guests to the style and unique characteristics of the Mid-Autumn Festival in the Lingnan region of China.

May 8, 2021

On May 8, 2021, a special Mother’s Day Dinner and Concert was jointly organized in Shunde by the Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau of the Shunde District of Foshan, the Guangdong Radio and Television Pearl River Economic Station, and China Hotel. The banquet menu for the evening was jointly designed and executed by the Shunde Chef Association and the star culinary team from China Hotel, and the dishes were named after famous Cantonese Opera and Guangdong Folk Art traditions. The music from the concert rang through the event venue, to the great delight of those in attendance.

On the evening of December 8, 2020, China Hotel held a customer appreciation party and Winter Holiday lighting ceremony. Many guests gathered in the hotel lobby to share in the warmth and good wishes of the evening! A special art installation with the theme A Crystal Blue Night in Guangzhou was officially unveiled and lit during the ceremony. Inspired by Cantonese dim sum steamers, this art piece integrates traditional Cantonese food culture with Winter Holiday colors and themes.

The long-awaited China Hotel Christmas Lighting Ceremony was held on December 6, 2019. Approximately 300 guests gathered in the lobby to light up the Christmas season with wonderful songs, performances and a warm and happy atmosphere.
